Cheers:
"Fred,
Don't forget that at 16000 feet the OAT is maybe minus 30 degrees, so the
inlet air is that temp, then raised by compression in the turbo, and cooled
by the intercooler to about 30 degrees warmer than ambient, so it goes into
the cylinder at around 0 degrees, not 110 degrees F. Maybe a bit more HP
than you figured."

We need to define dimensions. The ICAO standard temperature of air at
16000ft ASL in the Northern hemisphere is +3degF, -17degC I believe, neither
of which is minus 30.
We need to use ambient standard temps, or winter speeds will not compare to
summer. I have no idea what an intercooler's effect is, but I presume it
cools a pressure-heated inlet air - the net change is a mystery to me. I do
know the change is greater at higher ambient temps than at lower.
I do know that winter performance is surprisingly better than summer, and
that summer temps are surprisingly deadly if you're in a forest strip in
July. The air qualities are what the computor (calculator) is for.
The crux is the effect of the intercooler - and I missed the difference in
the discussion.
