Subject: Re: Light weight carpet
I was wondering about that too, however one concern that I have with
carpet, is getting fire resistant low smoke light weight carpet. I
don't know if the stuff actually exists, but what I have found, is a
very light weight leather. It appears to be pretty tough, thin and
very light. However, getting it to go around corners will be
interesting. Perhaps leather would be a safer bet?
I found it in a car trim shop when I was in the UK.
