>I'm having a little problem understanding the "reply to all " factor.?
>I have always used that as a chosen option am I right to continue as such?
NO! Do NOT "reply to all", whether arising from an e-mail client
preference setting, or as an explicit choice when composing a reply.
Just "reply", please, like it says in the FAQ.
>I guess we still need to use plain text
As it says in the FAQ, you can post in HTML as much as you like now
and it won't get through to the list, so please yourself!
>pics etc. still need
>directing through John Cliff?
As it says in the FAQ - that's short for FREQUENTLY Asked Questions
and so is where folk should look before asking anything on the forum
- yes, attachments will get trashed before broadcast so put them up
on your own website, or send them to John Cliff or to Dave Watts.
If anyone feels that any answers in the FAQ are not clearly
expressed, please contact me offering improved wording. Volunteers to
take over FAQ maintenance also always welcome!
>thanks to all connected with the
>work associated with the site
The technical setup work was done by Tom Dawes-Gamble who is the list
supremo at Aviators Network & Flyer, but John Cliff is shouldering a
heavy load of admin while clearing various glitches arising from the
changeover. Good to know it's all appreciated.
