When attaching end fittings to control tubes we sometimes use rivets, sometimes rivets with redux and sometimes rivets with locktite 638. I'm currently working on the pitch control push rod which calls for locktite 638 but there is quite a gap between the tube and the end fitting so I would have thought that this was a case for using redux on the roughened surfaces, this also insulating the steel from the alu. Any comments. Mike XS Mono #440 |
