I have tried it in my airplane and it allows you to look behind the aircraft
quite a bit more than you might guess. It basically gives you a more open
feeling in the cockpit. I would not select it on looks, but it has a
functional beauty in a way. For me -- being 6 foot 3 - it is a practical
consideration.
