Shaun an All builders I have found it better to use nothing. There by avoiding any possibility of contaminating the work. The cleco pliers seem to been able to remove even the most glued up cleco. I am not using the hand screw "clamps" sent in the kit. They are too slow and clumsy to use . Aircraft Spruce has the clecos and pliers, 50 - 1/8" size will do the job very well.
