They have a pile of the forms at Kemble and will give you them. I imagine
other airfields will also have them. David Joyce

> The forms are fairly self explanatory, but there a few boxes which may
confuse. These are designed to deduct fuel used or spilt after loading and
whilst you're still on a flight to a UK destination. You can only claim for
fuel that you've loaded which is to be consumed after your last point of
departure from the UK. ie if you load 70 litres in Manchester, burn 20
litres flying to Lydd, land and clear customs at Lydd and fly to France, you
can only claim for 70-20=50 litres. If you fly direct from Manchester to
France then you can claim for all 70litres.

> It's also worth pointing out to our continental friends that you too can
claim this relief if you visit the UK and buy our expensive fuel. The only
problem may be that HMCE will send you a cheque in UK which you may find
hard to cash. You can get round this (as I did for a friend who recently
visited from France) by having a UK person make the claim on your behalf
(which they can do - there's provision on the HO60 form for this), and then
send you the cash in the post later.

give me a call. Daytime: 01983 828124, evening 01983 756237. I'm only too
happy to help get money from the government feeding back into aviation!

> There is some info on the HMCE website www.hmce.gov.uk and although you
can download many forms, when I last looked the HO60 wasn't one of them.
