info re AT3000 altitude encoder

I have acquired a Terra AT3000 altitude encoder, its unused but without any
installation instructions.

Does anyone know of a source of the installation manual or at least details
of the pinout of the 15 way D plug ?.

 and now the tricky question,

I have read of problems with Terra radios and the difficulty in general with
support, what's the general scene regarding the AT3000 ?

I intend to use it with my Garmin transponder.
