 Any comments on location of the strobe unit and what I
should be concerned about C of G wise would be appreciated.

I've mounted mine under (and bolted to) one of the baggage bay
rectangular panels. Battery is under the starboard side and whelan
strobe unit on the port. Immediately under the strobe unit are the two
fuel pumps.

Mine is 914/Airmaster as well.
