Hi John,

I used a 6 inch wide by 4 feet (or so) long strip of bathroom towel draped 
over the opening. As the wing goes down into the strap it drags the toweling 
down with it. I too hangar it and don't take it home very often but I always 
suspected the rubber might scuff the paint. My wife still wonders what 
happened to one of the bathroom towels....
