They had been both seemingly unobtainable for a long time I don't know how
it is now but the radio was constantly back ordered by everyone and no one
knew when the transponder would become available. I got tired of waiting
and went with the German Becker units, more pricy but slightly more power
and good recommendations. Haven't flown with them yet however.
