| Hi! Nigel/All/Mike Gregory Club Safety. I understood that there is a pretty exact definition of the visibility of nav.lights and strobes. Like they must be visible from a particular wide range of angle. Whilst the top of the fin is good I understood that it alone doesn't satisfy these regs.? ie:- an aircraft climbing from below on the same heading wouldn't see the fin strobe, this therefore calls for a belly mounted strobe to "close the circle " .? regards Bob Harrison G-PTAG - |
