Hi! Duncan.
No problems with my "Cobalt Blue" Nextel finish on my entire panel. Looks
good cleans easy even with the suede textured finish, shows up the yellow
backed plackards, see http://www.crix.org.uk. under "Labels for panel"  on
G-PTAG to see the colour. Your problems are just the same as I discovered
when I flashed over the rear face of the Propeller blades with Aluminium!
