Hi Eddie, I have just been down this road and I would encourage you to fill it. I found that I could apply really thin layers of SuperFil by gently heating it and applying it with the widest plaster's trowel available. I then worked it back with 320 grit on a long sanding spline. The SuperFil will go straight on top of the smooth prime. Paul |
