Since you have a trigear, the strength of the turnbuckle is no issue, as 
long as it's an aircraft quality part.  Similarly, it shouldn't stretch 
much at all in service, so you might consider why it needs to be 
adjustable.  As long as the pedal position is set up where it's most 
comfortable initially, that should be it. If not, a Dremel cutoff wheel 
will quickly undo the Nicopress ferrule, and you can shorten the cable. 
  If enough extra left on, you can lengthen it.  It would also be 
cheaper to just do up new cables to better length than buy Mil Spec 
turnbuckles!
