The pocket on my front fuselage door hinge mounting point is 11 mm deep at its deepest. Since the measurement from hinge center line to end of the longest point on the trimmed door tang is 22 mm I see now why it wont fit. Anyone else have this problem? Also the pocket is angled at 50 degs, this only allows the door to open 18 inches before the tang hits it. The pockets have to go! I'm going to reform them deeper with 4 ply of bid. Comments?
