The East of Scotland Strut & National Museums of Scotland host their joint
fly-In at the Museum of Flight near Edinburgh at East Fortune airfield on
22nd & 23rd August 2003. This unique site has an impressive collection
of historic aircraft housed in the original WW2 buildings - - - a
destination offering more than just a place to have coffee & fly home.
This normally closed airfield will be opened especially for this event.
Come & join us, all are welcome, in any aircraft type. The coffee is
free as well !! We have a few prizes for those making the effort, be
there !!
Landing fee by donation
Barbecue and ceilidh for visiting aircrew on Friday evening
Camping available or accommodation possible locally by arrangement
Free entrance to event and Museum for aircrew
Free coffee to all aircrew
Prizes awarded for "Best Aircraft" & "Most Meritorious Flight"
100LL Fuel available on site - - Lead free by prior request
