Finally today at 10:45am N166BB took to the air at Lakeland Regional Airport. Lee Omernik was the test pilot for the first flight which lasted approx. 20 minutes in 93F degree temps. Engine temps stayed in the green even after a 15 minute taxi. Squawks were a slightly erratic FlyDat and fuel odor. Power is 912ULS and Prince P tip prop. It took longer that I had thought to get to this point but it is worth the wait to see your creation take flight. Keep at it. Regards, Bob Berube A166 Conventional |
