Europa-List: Firewall heat shield.

I have noticed that some builders have used a heat shield or cool mat type
product on their firewalls. Europa says they are not necessary, as the XS is
fine without it. I have been thinking about adding it for sound proofing and
added heat protection. Would like to know what others have used and or if it
is worth using. All you flying Europas, is it worth it?
