Reg: Rummaging through my fuselage box my main gear tires are Airtrac brand 5.00-5 4 ply Type III AA1D2 I had used this brand and also a 4 ply on my Cherokee with good luck. You can certainly spend more. Goodyear for instance cost almost 3 times as much when I was shopping. But no one could convince me that the Goodyear's would last 3 times as long!
