Tony,
I just finished making two of them.. I used 3/16"  X 1"  Alum stock.  I
would recommend 5/8" wide. (since it wasn't available, I used  1")  The
length of each lever is 7.5"  The hole spacing, center to center, is 3
cm.   These are for the new dual cylinder brakes, not the wimpy Matco
that came with the kit.
