I really have a hard time believing a cowl is intellectual property.
In the US, it would be very difficult to fight a derivative, non-exact
copy.  If the UK rules are actually different (and not just corporate
bluster), maybe those entreprenuers should save on shipping costs and just
market to the non-UK world.  Would be a great pity though.
