We have had to remove powder coating at various times and heavy duty paint
remover takes it off easily.

Powder coat is very abrasion resistant. I think you
will get very tired trying to skuff it off. MEK will
take it off. Try MEK first. ACE Hardware has it. Wear
gloves, bad stuff. evaporates immediately, thats why
it was used as a cleaner before paint and sealer. So
use in a well ventalated area.
