Europa-List: 912s oil consumption

Following the recommendations from Rotax, I have recently changed from
Castrol GTX magnatec to Shell VSX4 for my 912S.  I seem to be consuming
more of this and getting more 'nicotine' stains down the exhaust side of
the fuselage. Engine has done 100 hours now and I seem to be consuming
around 1 to 2 litres of oil between 50 hours oil changes approx.  Is
this normal?
