Hi all,

I pulled out the piston and the bore was quite corroded.  I guess it was
---From sitting around so long and some moisture got in it.  There were also a
few metal filings inside but they had not got between the bore and piston.

I would recomend to any builder that has had there kit for a while to
disassemble the brake unit, check for corrosion and put in some corrosion
inhibitor.
