Thanks, Alan. Believe me, my thoughts on how to do the count have already
been made clear :-) I understand and respect why they took that decision
and, given the issues over the last few years, I think it's understandable
that a more robust approach wasn't taken. I just disagree with it not being
more robust and would very much have preferred the EC to have stood up to
any nay-sayers very firmly indeed. My first response to such people would be
"why arent you a candidate for the EC, then?".
Perhaps the change to a fresh EC with new folks sans battle-scars will be
beneficial in this area? It will certainly be beneficial in other areas.
I also suspect they were caught between a rock and a hard place on that one
- hence they used 'SFB Photographic' instead of the individual's name...
Cheers,
Jeremy

Thanks for that Jeremy, when you do get elected it might be worth you
pushing home the point about them wasting OUR money, also I think the
editors desk column in this months issue of popular flying was a little
"unsubtle" offering thanks to SFB photography for there "excellent
results" wonder if people know who SFB is ???
Anyway good luck with the election.
Alan

Hi, Alan,
Ahhh... the tactful approach :-)
AGM was interesting - lots of debate about compulsory membership of
co-owners and about the Rally offerings. Someone let a Rottweiler loose
when it came to a debate on charging for type approvals, though :-)
Election results are not out until Wednesday - because of the fear of
nay-sayers, the PFA are paying for the Electoral Reform Society to do
the count at a cost of about 1500 quid. My personal opinion is that 1500
quid would be better spent on bullets for the nay-sayers....
Also looking forward to a new, revived, dynamic, LEAN and EFFECTIVE
Europa - although I don't know of the new owner's plans yet.
Cheers,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy
Can I ask her to supply that info directly please :-)
Sorry I couldn't make it to the AGM on Saturday we were closed in with
the weather, how did you do, were you elected? I presume you have now
heard about the new owner of Europa. Hopefully things will now start to
get back to normal and we can all breath a sigh of relief at a new more
focussed management. Cheers
Alan

Well the heading says it all. Kate is a commercial pilot and knows what
she likes..!
So far we have bought, David Clarke headsets....ok but not perfect
she says
Then
DRE ANR headsets....Brill she says
But then she saw
Bose Headsets...... Now these she likes..!
So does anyone want to buy either some cheap David Clarke's (50 each)
or some excellent DRE ANR headsets hardly used at (100 each) they are
like new I promise. If not does anyone want to buy a cheap Co pilot..!
Cheers Alan
