40% ????? My GPS antenna is not just an antenna. It is a receiver. The signal on the wire coming out of it is data, not RF. This equipment now days is pretty much all digital. My bet is that the "noise" of the com is effecting the receiver of the GPS antenna. Fix it by moving the antenna receiver mogul. That is the easy way and put it up out of the way in the overhead.
