I suggest keeping the aperture size to a minimum. THe more wind that blows
in there and swirls around the more drag you will have in flight. Several
people have fitted fairings that streamline the wheel when retracted.. Kim
Prout , who sadly rarely speaks on here, sells his I believe and is one of
the real speed gurus. He was lucky, (also skilled) his Dad worked for
Lockheed Skunk Works.
