| Hi Jim, The tailplanes are in balance when they stay in any position that you put them (as yours appear to do!) and when they move a similar distance in either direction if you give them a slight push or tap! This is AFTER they have been filled and painted, etc. and with everything connected ready for flight. A very technical answer, I'm sure you will agree! Now get goin' to that airport and fly!
