Thanks Dave and Mike for the split pencil advise, will give that a try.
Tim, my flaps were 0.4 degree out of alignment, but curing this didn't reduce
the sideforce. The Gurney Flap is named after Dan Gurney the US F1 and Sports
Car champion who discovered that a small lip perpendicular to the trailing
edge of the then fixed racing car rear wings could be used to adjust downforce
to suit conditions. Just try the web for a LOT of information.
