I bonded my panel (custom made) in and then make each side from plate removable.
All the wiring is going through round cannon plugs.  I can take the pilot side
out in 7 minutes, you can time me !

I like it this way. There has been several time I needed to do work in behind,
and out it came. Easy. I used #6 screws with the nutplates bonded in to fasten
it in.
