Craig,
I ran into the same problem when I registered mine. It wound up that I sent a 
copy
of the invoice from Europa USA and a letter of explanation detailing the demise
of Europa and Europa USA. They went ahead and registered it.(BTW-went to
great lengths to explain this was not a flying aircraft but a kit I was 
building).
