In my opinion the most probable cause for Avgas water contamination in Britain might well be rain in the tanks openings, wether when refuelling or sitting on the ramp, or moisture condensation. Just wondering. Regards, Gilles Thesee................................. The cause of water in the fuel tank is almost always condensation - which is frequent in the British climate. I often have to take a couple of tests to eliminate water from my Europa and PA28 tanks. Patrick |
