I have wired up two Europe's,and use that switch on both of them. The Rotax alternator does not have a wire to disconnect it. The switch has been carrying the buss load just fine. Remember this is a little airplane. Your battery is 18 ampere hours and the alternator is about 18 amps flat out at high RPM. Yes, a buss relay is OK, but I did not use one. (can't fail if it is not there) There, I feel Better ! :) Cliff Shaw 1041 Euclid ave. Edmonds, WA 98020 425 776 5555 http://www.europaowners.org/WileE |
