The nosewheel fork will not accomadate a larger tyre, but smaller ones [  
same size as nosewheel] will fit on the main gear,  [ with smaller tubes,  of 
course] This was standard fit on the pre XS Trigear.
Long grass / soft ground will create more rolling resistance with the  
smaller tyres.
