Cheers,
            I have been following the cold weather defense discussion with 
interest since -20C is not unknown here as in Minnesota. I therefore learnt 
of the possible dangers of rust-inspiring condensation due to heating (?)
            Page  10-20 of the Rotax 914 'Serie' Operating Manual under 
10.3.9 "Cold Weather Operation, Remedy" as move no. 3 states:
 --- Preheat engine using hot air.
Does this change things at all?
