Vaughan,

We have an XS mono wheel, with the 914 installed. The fuel pumps are in parallel
which is what Rotax was preaching at the time of our installation.

We do a lot of long cross countries, and we fly in the high teens (15000-17500)
when
winds aloft are favorable. We have not experienced any fuel problems, at these
altitudes, and a lot of this time was using auto fuel....I would say we have at
least
20 hours logged at these altitudes.

Rotax has made a lot of changes since 2000, when we first flew our a/c. Several
times
different oils have been recommended, the coolant change, and now the fuel pump
change, to name a few. I thank as they see the operating experience of the 914
in
private hands, and the military, we will continue to see running changes as they
see
fit.

Just my thoughts.
