I also saw that photo and made a pair of the long nose pliers for the pip
pins. Just get a pair of needle
nose pliers and cut off one end, then bend the other "long" end over so it
touches. Works great on
the pip pins. Take out the ring and you have a great remove and installer.

Hi All,
Some time ago "somewhere" I saw some photographs where a pair of long nosed
pliers were modified so the ends of the were bent / ground so that the would
go into the holes in side of he pip pin where the ring normally goes. It
seemed to be a neat idea, does this ring a bell with anyone ?
