It is good to hear a solution to one of those mister Rotax problems.
Now you have a new one ! :(
I have experienced something like that on my 914S , at times. I attributed it
to fouled plug "syndrome". It occurs after a long taxi and goes away in just
a minute after full power has been set.
I have started to do my shut-down at the end of taxi a little different now to
help with this problem. I "kick" the throttle just a bit before turning off the
ignitions (together). It has not happened since I started this procedure.
On a side note relating to this : While inspecting my plugs doing my annual, I
saw small globs of "lead" (?) in the space around the electrodes. I burn 100LL
about a third of the time. I replaced the plugs and will check again before
I use any more 100LL.
