If you look at the following link

you will see 2 NACA vents. The lower one is for the air intake. The next link

shows the air intake from the hose to manifold then on to the carbs. The
smaller upper NACA vent is an additional fresh air inlet to an eyeball vent.
Both of these NACA vents provide very good air supply/flows. While there hasn't
been any tuft testing, so far they work great.
