Depends how much of the wire you need - if you're just modifying the panel
etc, you can buy it by the meter from Matthew Russell - if you want
quantities to wire the whole aircraft, you may wish to buy rolls of the
common sizes as it would work out loads cheaper - you can buy it from
farnell (one of the two big catalogue suppliers to the electronics
industry - like a professional version of Maplin but much, much bigger) -
you can find them at www.farnell.co.uk They are great - you can even get a
3 1/8" starrett cutter from them for cutting the panel out.
I'd buy the rolls of wire from there and the odd lengths of screened and
very large diameters (for the master & avionics bus) from Matthew.
You can also get lengths from E-bay - most of it comes from the US but its
really not expensive to post.
