Mine is on top of the footwell, port side, just inside where the 'gill
slots' are.

My RR is on the firewall inside the box which surrounds the Turbo
Control unit (914),.  This box has a 2" cooling pipe leading to it.

I am not sure that this position is ideal and it is certainly horribly
inconvenient for access and maintenance.  A ny better suggestions would
be welcome.
