Europa-List: finger brakes

Hi All,
         Just finishing the upholstery in Romeo India So it's time to 
redux the finger brake housing into the tunnel ( as per manual ).  I 
have found the access though the tunnel to be extremely useful and was 
wondering if I could re enforce around the access and use anchor nuts so 
as to be able to remove the finger brake housing for maintenance etc. 
Has any one else done this ? does it need a Mod ?
