Hi

Can anybody tell me what this aeroplane is?  The picture was taken by a
friend's grandfather at the end of WW1.  He was in the RFC.  Been looking at
all the likely suspects but none match.  My friend has a boyhood memory of
having been told the aeroplane was American.
