Thx. to those who replied to my sternpost joggle post. My rudder flange is thinner than the thickness of the sternpost/fin thickness by 1/8"+. Did anyone do anything about the starboard side of the rudder being more inboard than the starboard side of the fin? Just ignore it? Space the hinge on the rudder flange with G-10 or aluminium or layers of BID? Fill rudder to match? If you filled how far aft of an area did you fair over? Perhaps 1/3 way space hinge and 1/3 way fill and ignore 1/3 offset? Thx. Ron Parigoris |
