I should be very wary of having one pin that is too short to fit on either
side. Better to get two longer pins, so that it doesn't matter which way
round you fit them. While I know you are conscientious and would never make
a mistake, someone else later in NY's life might fit the shorter pin in the
side that needs a longer one, with potential consequences that I don't need
to spell out.

Two more to report. Tony Kay did both his a/c and mine this week. No dramas
and I have updated the table below accordingly. Hours and pip pin details
for 'AY not available at the time of writing. Note(1): 'NY needs one longer
pin - other side was long enough as original. Tony also reports a
conversation with Francis Donaldson who wanted to hear first hand reports
---From inspectors in the field about any signs of disbonding or other problems
observed. Apparently the same conversation indicated (as I understand it)
likely movement by the PFA towards approving the use of Loctite to secure TP
9 and 12's onto the torque tube.
