Hi Jos,

According to the Rotax mauals and website, the probes actually measure 
the head metal temp :

Of course this is no big deal, but I measured the actual coolant temps, 
and they are a bit lower. This is to be expected since you need a 
temperature difference for heat transfer to occur.
