Pictures of my solution attached. The nosewheel axle
through bolt is an Allen wrench headed "machine screw"
(provided by Europa), Onto this fits a stainless steel
collar which sticks out through the fairing. Its length is
restricted by the need to get the fairing off ! There is
only one, on the port side.
The "female" part was to also have been made out of
stainless but my engineering friend hasn't got round to
making it. So I ground down a hole saw (rather a lot !)
and bolted it to a length of square section tube. I don't
carry it in the plane - if I did it would be made a LOT
shorter !
The plane can be pulled and pushed with it - but tow bars
are normally used for steering not for propulsion !
