Hi,
I am having a problem getting the Navaid (complete with smartcoupler) to talk or
communicate with my satnav. I know the Avmap is sending out the correct NMEA
strings because I have a Dynon D100 and the data from the Avmap flight plan is
overlaid in magenta on the Dynon HSI.
The unit works OK in wing leveller mode to the AP1 isn't the problem.
Navaid have asked me to check the wiring from the Avmap, which I have and I have
continuity, a ground and a signal from the satnav.
Has anyone had a similar problem or can you provide any suggestions?
Navaid have said I may need to sent the smartcoupler back to them in the States,
but only as a last resort.
