Hi Martin,

I have had great success with an electronic differential vacuum gauge
designed for motor cycles.  It has variable sensitivity, it is so
sensitive that I can detect the difference in cable length.  I have
tubes long enough that I can sit in the seat of the aircraft and run
the throttle up.
